Yoga Now Recommended 1st for Back Pain

The American College of Physicians has just come out with recommendations for back pain sufferers. Surprise surprise surprise:  Try YOGA or tai chi first, physical therapy next, drugs next, surgery last.  And not the boot camp, hot, vinyasa,or ashtanga yoga, but the quiet, relaxing, stress reducing style of yoga, like Kripalu Yoga.


It will be no surprise to practitioners of Kripalu yoga, who experience the strength and flexibility that builds over time, all the while getting to enjoy the class, the movements and the extended benefits of stress reduction and greater awareness the practice brings.
