"Hip Openers"

No more using these words,says Dr. Ginger Garner, doctor of physical therapy and yoga instructor.  Yoga stretches are useful for creating flexibility and strength in the hips and legs, but she warns of end range stressors on the hip joints that extreme practices can encourage.   My classes in Kripalu Beginner, Moderate and Senior yoga rarely ever take us close to these extreme stretches, but I look forward to learning more from Dr. Garner's blog and will keep you posted.
